2. INEFFECTIVE LEGAL COUNSEL
Ineffective legal counseling, often referred to as ineffective assistance of counsel, can occur due to several factors:

Lack of Competence: An attorney needs to possess the necessary skills or knowledge to handle a case effectively.

Inadequate Preparation: Failing to thoroughly investigate the case, gather evidence, or prepare for trial.

Poor Communication: Not keeping the client informed about the case status, strategy, or important decisions.

Conflict of Interest: Representing clients with conflicting interests, which can compromise the attorney's loyalty and effectiveness.

Failure to Advise: Not providing the client with adequate legal advice or options, including plea bargains or settlements.

Neglecting Duties: Missing deadlines, failing to file necessary motions, or not appearing in court as required.

3. CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY
The United States has not been formally convicted of crimes against humanity by any recognized international court, such as the International Criminal Court (ICC). However, there have been instances where international tribunals and panels have found the U.S. guilty of human rights abuses and crimes against humanity. For example, in 2021, the Spirit of Mandela International Tribunal found the U.S. guilty of various human rights abuses, including genocide, against Black, Brown, and Indigenous peoples.
These findings, while significant, do not carry the same legal weight as a conviction by an international court like the ICC. However, they highlight ongoing concerns and criticisms regarding the U.S.'s treatment of certain populations. www.supremecourt.gov
Such population examples include murder, extermination, enslavement, deportation, imprisonment, torture, rape, and other inhumane acts.
